Battery and Speaker Replacement

Step 1

  • Remove Palmrest assembly (click here if you need help with this step)

Step 2

  • Remove 5 screws from the battery and speakers

Step 3

  • Disconnect the speaker cable

Step 4

  • Lift the speakers gently and set them to the side

Step 5

  • Remove the battery and battery shield

Step 6

  • Place new battery inside the device and place the shield on top of it

Step 7

  • Put the new speakers inside the device and route the cables

Step 8

  • Replace the 5 screws removed earlier

Step 9

  • Connect the speaker cable

Step 10

  • Re-attach the Palmrest Assembly
