Almost everyone can agree that 2021 was an absolute whirlwind. Through all of the craziness, it’s hard to remember everything that’s happened after such a reactionary year. Here are a few of the things that were highlights for eduPARTS in 2021:

Schools Reopened

This year we saw schools reopen, which was no small feat. There was significant work done to keep students safe, as transition after transition was forced on school infrastructures. We saw tech departments step up, as they handled the uptick in student and teacher tech needs, all while juggling the shifts in the industry. We introduced our UV-C device sanitizing machine and were even fortunate enough to be able to donate $30,000 in machines to schools nationwide.

Chromebook Protection Line Introduced

We introduced our brand new tempered glass and protective Chromebook skins in 2021! It was important to us that the repairs you made and the time you spent on deployed devices were protected. That’s why we set out to provide products that keep your devices in rotation longer. We’re proud of these new additions!

Launched our Repair Guide Library

We never wanted to stop at just supplying you and your teams with great parts, we wanted to offer support with the repairs themselves. To help answer your repair questions faster and with more detail, we created our Repair Guide Library. We’re continuously updating the library with helpful step-by-step directions and video tutorials on how to fix different issues across a number of Chromebooks. Our team has worked hard on this project and we hope that you’re getting good use from it! Stay tuned for more guides coming soon. Make sure to submit repair guide requests if we don’t have one for your deployed devices. To do so, fill out the form here.

Conversations with Technology Directors

We had the opportunity to speak with Brandon Richmond, Technology Director for Belding Area Schools (MI), and Frank Lopez, Coordinator of Technology and Support for Andrews ISD (TX). They shared their experience handling the pandemic from their unique perspectives. You can still watch our entire conversation on our YouTube Channel!

Device Dashboard Launch

Lastly, we introduced something we’re very excited about, our Device Dashboard. On the Dashboard, you’re able to enter all of your school’s deployed devices into a database that will help you track your device’s lifecycle, your expenditures, and even order new parts as you need them with ease. More to come on this very soon!

None of this would have been possible without you, and we are incredibly grateful for everything. Cheers to a year behind us, and we’re looking forward to great things with you in 2022!
