Step 1
- Remove 4 screws on the corners of the Bezel
Step 2
- Insert Plastic Pry Tool underneath the bezel and separate the Bezel from the Top Cover. Note: If this is the first time this device is getting it’s LCD replaced, we recommend heating the bezel before removal to loosen up the adhesive
Step 3
- Remove 4 screws holding the LCD in place, 2 on the left, 2 on the right
Step 4
- Separate the LCD Cable from the LCD by removing the tape and lifting the metal tab holding the LCD Cable in place
Step 5
- Connect the LCD Cable to the new LCD, lower the metal tab, and reapply the tape
Step 6
- Make sure the LCD is lined up correctly and screw it back into place
Step 7
- Snap the Bezel back onto the Top Cover
Step 8
- Replace the 4 screws placed on the corners of the Bezel
