Step 1

  • Remove Palmrest assembly (click here if you need help with this step)

Step 2

  • Remove 6 screws - 5 from the Motherboard and 1 from the WiFi Card

Step 3

  • Disconnect all cables from the Motherboard
      Camera Cable
      Speaker Cable
      LCD Cable
      Daughterboard Cables
      WiFi Cables
      I/O Cable

Step 4

  • Remove old Motherboard from the device

Step 5

  • Seat new Motherboard and connect the I/O cable and WiFi Cables

Step 6

  • Replace all of the screws removed earlier

Step 7

  • Reconnect all other cables
      Camera Cable
      Speaker Cable
      LCD Cable
      Daughterboard Cables

Step 8

  • Re-attach the Palmrest Assembly
