Step 2
- Make sure the battery cable is disconnected. From here you can disconnect the rest of the cables in no particular order

- Disconnect the speaker cable

- Lift the tab on the motherboard holding the daughterboard ribbon cables in place and remove the cables
Step 5
- Disconnect the power cable from the motherboard
Step 6
- Separate the wifi cables from the wifi card and the camera cable from the motherboard
Step 7
- Peel back the black tape covering the lcd connector on the motherboard
Step 8
- Lift up the tab and and remove the LCD cable from the motherboard
Step 9
- Remove the 7 screws holding the motherboard and wifi card in place
Step 10
- Remove the motherboard from the chromebook and separate the wifi card
Step 11
- Connect the wifi card to the new motherboard
Step 12
- Line up the board ports on the right side of the bottom cover and lay the board back inside the unit
Step 13
- Replace the 7 screws removed earlier

- Reconnect all of the cables to the motherboard saving the battery cable for last
